Taking it to the “Extreme”

It seems that the word “extreme” has become a major part of marketing in the United States. After all, everything from sports beverages to sports have been described with the adjective, and it seems to promote a certain type of lifestyle. While the word might not be enjoying the popularity that it did in the mid-1990s, nonetheless, “extreme” hasn’t quite melted away from the contemporary American vocabulary altogether.
