MDA to supply bus structures for Orbital’s Star-2 satellites

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. announced that its U.S. operation has signed an option under an existing agreement to provide an advanced technology solution to Orbital Sciences Corporation for its Star-2 satellites.

DoD awards Iridium contracts to upgrade satellite gateway in Hawaii

Iridium Communications Inc. said it has won three Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) contracts to upgrade the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Enhanced Mobile Satellite Service (EMSS) Gateway in Hawaii.

HTV2 launch date set

First test of AJ26 engine completed at Stennis

NASA’s John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi conducted a successful test firing of the liquid-fuel AJ26 engine that will power the first stage of Orbital Sciences Corp.’s Taurus II space launch vehicle.
