For the first time, ILS launches two satellites at once

Rocket: Proton M/Briz M; Payload: SES-3 (OS-2), KazSat-2; Date: 15 July 2011, 2316 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. After an 8-hour, 1-minute mission, the Briz M upper stage successfully released the SES-3 satellite into geostationary transfer orbit.
