Russia’s Ekspress AM4 satellite has (at best) ended up in a lower-than-expected orbit after an apparent failure of the Proton-M rocket’s Briz-M upper stage. At the time of this writing, no details were available regarding the satellite’s status.

China’s experimental satellite SJ-11-04 [ Shi Jian 11-04], which was launched by a Chang Zheng 2C rocket 18 August, failed to enter the designated orbit due to a malfunction of the rocket, Xinhua reported.

The first GLONASS-K type navigation satellite, launched from Plesetsk on 28 February, has been successfully undergoing flight and design tests, head of the Russian Space System holding and General Designer of the GLONASS system, Yuri Urlichich, was quoted as saying.

Hosting a party in your house can be quite a challenge.
