Last Ariane 5 of 2011 puts Arabsat 5C, SES 2 in orbit

Rocket: Ariane 5 ECA; Payload: Arabsat 5C, SES 2; Date: 21 September 2011, 2138 UTC; Launch site: Kourou, French Guiana. Delivering a total payload lift performance of approximately 8,975 kg., the mission lofted Arabsat-5C for the Arab Satellite Communications Organisation (Arabsat) and SES-2, which will be utilised by Europe’s SES.
