Contract for third-generation Meteosat weather satellites signed

Thales Alenia Space today signed a contract with the European Space Agency (ESA) to supply Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) satellites for Eumetsat, the European meteorological satellite organisation. Thales Alenia Space is prime contractor for this large-scale programme, in partnership with German company OHB. AEHF Flight 2 shipped to Cape Canaveral
