Solar array deployment problems delay Sirius-FM6 launch – report

The recently launched SES-4 satellite reportedly had problems deploying one of its solar arrays. Both have since been completely extended. NASA forms Mars Program Planning Group

NASA’ s associate administrator for the Science Mission Directorate, John Grunsfeld, has named former veteran NASA programme manager Orlando Figueroa to lead a newly established Mars Program Planning Group (MPPG) tasked to reformulate the agency’s Mars Exploration Program. MDA to support HD broadcasts from the ISS
