Fobos-Grunt conspiracy theories buried

Roskosmos has released the report of a commission that examined the failure of Russia’s Fobos-Grunt probe. Although there are contradicting media reports as to the exact root cause (possibly because a lot of things went wrong prior to launch), one thing has become clear: the spacecraft’s problems were in fact home-made. Moreover, it seems it had never any chance of success.
