Etisalat signs Intelsat 22 multi-transponder agreement

Intelsat S.A. announced that Etisalat UAE has signed a multi-year agreement for capacity on Intelsat 22, scheduled to launch in late March 2012.

Measat sells Africasat-1a capacity

Update: Atlas V lifts off with first MUOS satellite

The first Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) satellite, built by Lockheed Martin for the U.S. Navy, was successfully launched on 24 February from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket.

Contract for third-generation Meteosat weather satellites signed

Thales Alenia Space today signed a contract with the European Space Agency (ESA) to supply Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) satellites for Eumetsat, the European meteorological satellite organisation. Thales Alenia Space is prime contractor for this large-scale programme, in partnership with German company OHB. AEHF Flight 2 shipped to Cape Canaveral

Sea Launch on track to loft Intelsat 19
