North Korea apparently launches first satellite

Unha-3 [Taepodong-3]; Payload: Kwangmyongsong-3 FM2; Date: 12 December 2012, 0049 UTC; Launch site: Sohae Space Center, North Korea. According to U.S. tracking data, the payload was placed in a 505.5 km x 588.5 km x 97.4 degrees orbit.
