NSR’s In-Orbit Services report projects $14.3 billion in revenues

In its 5th year, NSR’s first to market In-Orbit Services: Satellite Servicing, ADR, and SSA, 5th Edition (IoSM5) forecasts US$14.3 billion in IoSM revenue, driven by Life Extension, generating US$4.7 billion through 2031. As the race to launch Non-GEO Satellite Constellation grows, thousands of satellites are set to launch through the coming decade growing demand for IoS, NSR said.

China hits back at U.S. after satellite near-misses

China has stated the United States is in no position to unilaterally set thresholds for emergency collision after the U.S. rejected the charge its Starlink satellites endangered China’s space station.

Modified Chang Zheng 8 to be launched

A modified version of China’s Chang Zheng 8 rocket is scheduled to make its debut flight in the coming weeks to transport 22 satellites into orbit, a designer said.
