Tesat-Spacecom, Germany, said it is expanding its manufacturing footprint into the United States to support its U.S. government and commercial customers.

Thales Alenia Space announced that it has been awarded a contract by the French Space Agency CNES to develop a DFMC (Dual Frequency Multi Constellations) Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) prototype.

The launch of an Astra Space rocket from Florida was aborted by onboard systems on 7 January after the ignition of the rocket’s engine, moments before lift-off. A new date has not been announced so far.
