Lockheed Martin delivers SBIRS ground software

Star One C2, Vinasat 1 pre-launch details

Arianespace will boost two communications satellites into orbit on its second launch of the year: Star One C2 for Brazilian operator Star One, as part of a turnkey contract with Thales Alenia Space; and Vinasat-1, built by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems (LMCSS) for operator Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation (VNPT).

C/NOFS satellite built by General Dynamics successfully launched

The Communication/Navigation Outage Forecasting System (C/NOFS) satellite, designed and built by General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, was successfully launched today from the U.S. Army’s Reagan Test Site in the Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands.
