Content providers for ICO mim trials

ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Limited (ICO) has reached agreements with Discovery Communications, LLC, and NBC Universal to provide content for the alpha trials of its mobile interactive media service, known as ICO mim.

SES moves, renames Sirius 2

SES Astra has announced the start of a new orbital position at 31.5 degrees East. The new position will allow SES Astra to operate satellite services at up to 40 new broadcasting frequencies (BSS) and support the development of the Eastern European and Middle East markets.

Commercial ‘comeback’ for Chang Zheng, thanks to Eutelsat?

Eutelsat Communications has purchased “precedent-setting insurance enabling it to use Chinese [Chang Zheng ] rockets for future launches,” the Wall Street Journal reported citing company and industry officials.
