That’s not surprising, considering that sports are a multi-billion dollar industry in the United States. AsiaSat-5 launch delayed 24 hours

The launch of Russia’s Proton-M vehicle with a Briz-M upper stage and China’s AsiaSat-5 telecommunications satellite from the Baikonur Cosmodrome has been postponed until 19548 UTC on 11 August.

Shuttle undocks from ISS

Space shuttle Endeavour undocked from the International Space Station at 1726 UTC today to take photographs of the ISS before final manoeuvres to prepare its return home, concluding the STS-127 mission.

Boeing TDRS programme completes ground system review

Boeing announced that the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS) K programme successfully completed its Ground Detailed Design Review (GDDR), held last month at NASA’s White Sands Complex in New Mexico, USA.

GOES-14 takes first full disk image

MDA to provide Radarsat-2 imagery to ESA

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.has signed a contract for C$4.6 million (EUR3.0 million, US$4.3 million) to provide Radarsat-2 satellite imagery to the European Space Agency.
