Soyuz-STB to launch ESA’s Gaia

The Global Astrometric Interferometer for Astrophysics (Gaia), ESA’s next-generation star mapper, will be carried into space by a Soyuz-STB/Fregat launch vehicle from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana in 2012.
