GOES-P arrives at Kennedy Space Center for final pre-launch testing

The latest Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite, GOES, developed by NASA for the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), called GOES-P, recently arrived on a C-17 military cargo aircraft at the Kennedy Space Center’s Shuttle Landing Facility from Boeing’s manufacturing plant in El Segundo, California.
