Proton/Briz-M launches latest Intelsat satellite

Rocket: Proton M/Briz M; Payload: Intelsat 16; Date: 12 February 2010, 0039 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. After a 9 hour 34 minute mission, the Briz M successfully released Intelsat 16 satellite into a near geostationary orbit.
