The big question on the minds of many satellite TV and cable subscribers, as well as many major television providers’ company executives and CEOs, is “is television a dying technology?” While it will surely be around to stay for a good many years, it seems that recent slumps in the numbers of subscribers to such services are a result of more than troubling economic times. Today, there’s just not as much need to be hooked up to a top quality provider when the exact same movies, shows, programs, news channels, music and more are just a click away on the computer.
