Arianespace said it decided to postpone the launch of Arabsat 5A and COMS aboard an Ariane 5 ECA owing to a launch vehicle pressurisation anomaly on the main cryogenic stage during final countdown operations.

If you are the kind of person who believes that football is played by throwing a brown ball through the air and not by kicking a black and white ball on the ground then there is a television package that is perfect for you. If you ask most Americans what kind of football they like, American football or soccer, most of the time they are going to say American football. It might not be that popular in other places in the world, but that doesn’t really matter because in the United States it’s arguably the most popular sport in the country.

While there were many prognosticators who picked the Red Sox and the Phillies to win it all in 2010, both of those teams find themselves in third place (if not out of it) as the season approaches the halfway point. While the Phillies have to contend with the Mets and Braves, Boston will grapple with both the Rays and the Yankees. For the first time the United States is starting to take a healthy interest in the World Cup. We are late to the game in the sense that the rest of the world has loved soccer since the game was invented. It’s hard to say why the sport never seemed to take off in popularity here the way that it has in the rest of the world. Perhaps it is because there are so many other sports that the United States is also interested in. Our interest in sports is too spread around and perhaps fans have felt they didn’t have enough room for another.
