Proton M lofts Arabsat’s Badr-5

Rocket: Proton M/Briz M; Payload: Badr-5 (Arabsat-5B); Date: 4 June 2010, 1100 UTC; Launch Site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. After a nine-hour, 13-minute mission, the Briz M successfully released the Badr-5 satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit.
