EGNOS system powered by Wind River achieves safety-critical certification

Wind River, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel Corporation, announced that its VxWorks real-time operating system has been chosen to run Logica’s Integrity Processing Facility (IPF) check set for the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS).
