NASA awards space shuttle RSRM contract modification

NASA has signed a US$42.1 million contract modification to space shuttle reusable solid rocket motor manufacturer ATK Launch Systems Inc. to provide continued prelaunch through postlaunch support until 31 December 2011.

MDA to provide USAF with software upgrade for RapidEye reception

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. has signed a contract with the U.S. Air Force Eagle Vision Program. MDA will upgrade its mobile ground system software, to allow it to receive and process imagery from the constellation of RapidEye satellites.

So, in the old days we all had those idiot antennas and then we got cable and no one wanted to let go of those random bits of metal sticking out of their TVs posing a very real threat of gouging young Billy’s eyes out.
