Proton grounded for the time being

International Launch Services said it expects to receive an interim report from a Russian State Commission set up to investigate the recent Proton launch failure, in approximately one week. At least until then, Proton launches will remain suspended.

Falcon 9 test flight now expected on 8 December

SpaceX has rescheduled the Falcon 9/COTS Demo 1 launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station for 8 November within a 1400-1722 UTC launch window.

Akatsuki in safe mode after attempt to enter Venus orbit

Japan’s Akatsuki Venus probe has arrived at its target planet, but it is yet unclear whether it successfully entered orbit. Limited contact has been established with the spacecraft, which appears to have entered safe mode.

Being a woman is a lot of hard work these days. Women often have to go work 40 hours or more every week during their full-time jobs, and at the end of the day, many of them are on full-time mommy duty. Needless to say, all of that work can be exhausting and women deserve the opportunity to take some time to just sit back and relax. Sometimes friends plan various parties together such as make up parties, Tupperware parties, kitchen supply parties or book clubs.
