Russia launches fourth Meridian satellite

Rocket: Soyuz-2.1a/Fregat; Payload: Meridian 4 (Meridian No. 14L); Date: 3 May 2011, 1741 UTC. A Russian Space Forces official said that a communication link with Meridian 4 had been established, and the satellite’s on-board systems were operating without glitches.

STS-134: additional testing for faulty power box

NASA selects three new Discovery Program investigations

NASA has selected three science investigations from which it will pick one potential 2016 mission to look at Mars’ interior for the first time; study an extraterrestrial sea on one of Saturn’s moons; or study in unprecedented detail the surface of a comet’s nucleus.
