Russia launches fourth Meridian satellite

Rocket: Soyuz-2.1a/Fregat; Payload: Meridian 4 (Meridian No. 14L); Date: 3 May 2011, 1741 UTC. A Russian Space Forces official said that a communication link with Meridian 4 had been established, and the satellite’s on-board systems were operating without glitches.
