People don’t often realize it, but many organizations, such as hospitals, have to put a lot of thought into how they manage people who are waiting to hear information about their loved ones. It is especially true that different kinds of methods need to be used to maintain a sense of calm in areas of hospitals such as waiting rooms. The staff who works in hospitals don’t have the time, energy or skills to really calm a dramatic situation down if one arises, and no one wants to have to call in security guards to subdue people if they get unruly.
