China takes first step towards own space station

Rocket: Chang Zheng 2FT1; Payload: Tiangong-1; Date: 29 September 2011, 1336 UTC; Launch site: Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China. The unmanned Tiangong-1 module will test space docking with a spacecraft later this year.
