Rocket Lab acquires space software company Advanced Solutions, Inc

Rocket Lab USA, Inc. announced it has completed the acquisition of Advanced Solutions, Inc. (ASI), a Colorado-based aerospace engineering firm delivering mission proven space software, mission simulation and test systems, and Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) solutions, for US$40 million plus the potential for an additional US$5.5 million performance earnout based on CY 2021 results.

Thuraya secures AED316 million distribution contracts

Al Yah Satellite Communications Company PJSC announced that its Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) subsidiary, Thuraya Telecommunications Company PJSC has secured long-tem agreements with a global service provider for a total value in excess of AED316 million (US$86 million) over the next three years.

Eutelsat raises its shareholding in OneWeb

Eutelsat Communications has exercised a call option on a portion of the latest OneWeb funding round subscribed by Bharti, for a consideration of US$165 million, taking its shareholding from 17.6% to 22.9%.

Telecoms tycoon launches Eutelsat takeover bid

OneWeb completes TrustComm transaction, creating OneWeb Technologies

OneWeb announced that it has completed its acquisition of Texas-based TrustComm Inc., a provider of managed satellite communications and professional services to commercial and governments organisations. OneWeb announced the planned acquisition of TrustComm in May and received all necessary regulatory approvals enabling the transaction to close.

Xona Space Systems fully funded for first LEO satellite navigation mission

Xona Space Systems announced that it has raised a new funding round co-led by Seraphim Space Investment Trust and MaC Venture Capital, with participation from Toyota Ventures, Daniel Ammann (co-founder of u-blox), and Ryan Johnson (former CEO of BlackBridge, operator of the Rapideye constellation). Follow-on investors also include 1517 Fund and Stellar Solutions.
