Viasat to acquire Inmarsat

Viasat Inc. and Inmarsat announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Viasat will acquire Inmarsat in a transaction valued at US$7.3 billion, comprised of US$850.0 million in cash, approximately 46.36 million shares of Viasat common stock valued at US$3.1 billion based on the closing price on Friday November 5, 2021, and the assumption of US$3.4 billion of net debt.

Airbus, Air Liquide and ispace Europe set up EURO2MOON

Airbus Defence and Space, Air Liquide and ispace Europe have announced the joint creation of EURO2MOON. This non-profit organisation will be dedicated to promoting a better use of lunar natural resources, while accelerating the cis-lunar economy and federating industrial efforts across Europe.

York Space to open new satellite manufacturing facility

Hungary’s 4iG telecom group acquires control of Spacecom

Spacecom, owner-operator of the Amos satellite fleet, announced that it and Hungary’s 4iG Plc., the Hungarian information technology and telecommunications company, have signed the agreement in which 4iG is acquiring a majority stake (51%) in Spacecom, through a private shares placement.
