Satellogic to provide dedicated satellite constellation to Paraguay

Satellogic announced that it has signed a letter of intent with Agencia Espacial del Paraguay (AEP) to develop a Space-as-a-Service programme for the country. As a result of this LOI, Satellogic and AEP will undertake various technological and scientific projects in accordance with AEP’s Institutional Strategic Plan and the Space Policy of Paraguay.

TAS to build HTS 113BT for Telkom Indonesia

Thales Alenia Space announced that it has signed a contract with PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia (Telkomsat), a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), to build HTS 113BT, a new High Throughput Satellite telecommunications satellite in C-band/Ku-Band from its orbital position at 113° East.

OHB building satellite constellation for high-speed data highway

OHB System AG, a subsidiary of European space technology group OHB SE, is planning to develop and build a constellation of four relay satellites for U.S. company SpaceLink Corporation which will form part of a high-speed communications highway in space.

Lucy stable in cruise mode

LeoLabs commits to Australia as site for next space radar

LeoLabs, Inc. announced Australia as the site for its next space radar. The West Australian Space Radar represents a critical addition to LeoLabs global constellation of S-band, phased-array sensors. When completed in 2022, it will expand LeoLabs’ total number of radar sites to six, and total number of space radars to ten.

Ekspress satellites delivered to launch site

A Russian An-124 cargo plane delivered two Ekspress-series telecoms satellites to an airfield in Kazakhstan for their launch from the Baikonur spaceport in December, Roskosmos announced.

Kleos commits to build and launch fourth satellite cluster

Kleos Space S.A. has signed new contracts with satellite builder Innovative Solutions in Space B.V. (ISISPACE) and global launch services provider Spaceflight Inc. to build and manage the launch its fourth satellite cluster of four satellites, the Observer Mission (KSF3) mid-2022.
