ENTEL extends agreement with Hispasat

Hispasat has reached an agreement with Chilean telecom company ENTEL to extend the direct-to-home (DTH) managed service that it provides to the entire country until the end of 2024.

OneWeb agrees satellite launch programme with New Space India

OneWeb announced that the company and New Space India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation, have entered into an agreement that will help ensure OneWeb completes its satellite launch programme.

Rocket Lab secures multi-launch contract with HawkEye 360

Rocket Lab announced it has been selected by HawkEye 360 to launch three Electron missions for the radio frequency geospatial analytics provider. The first of the three missions is scheduled to be Rocket Lab’s inaugural Electron mission from Launch Complex 2 on Wallops Island, Virginia, ushering in an era of Rocket Lab launches from U.S. soil from no earlier than December 2022.

.S. Vice President Kamala Harris pledged that the United States would not conduct destructive anti-satellite tests and called on other nations to follow suit. “As of today the United States commits not to conduct destructive, direct-ascent, anti-satellite missile testing,” Harris said

Kymeta to offer LEO satellite connectivity to Government market through partnership with OneWeb

D-Orbit enters agreement with Beyond Gravity for Space Rider components

D-Orbit announced the signing of a subcontract with space company Beyond Gravity, under which D-Orbit will deliver lightweight carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) tools and metallic structural components for the European Space Agency’s Space Rider reusable space vehicle. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
