Rocket: Proton M/Briz M; Payload: Ekspress AMU3, Ekspress AMU7; Date: 13 December 2021, 1207 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The Russian Proton-M rocket lifted off with two Ekspress telecoms satellites from the Baikonur spaceport as normal and its Briz-M booster activated its thrusters successfully.

ISRO has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OPPO India to exchange technical information of NavIC messaging services. This will enable integrating NavIC messaging service with the mobile handset platform keeping in mind the need of Indian users.

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope (HST) team recovered the Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph on Monday, 6 December, and is now operating with all four active instruments collecting science. The team has still not detected any further synchronisation message issues since monitoring began 1 November.

On 7 December 2021, “Golden Bauhinia Satellite No. 5” and “Golden Bauhinia Satellite No. 1 (03) were successfully launched by the Galactic Energy Ceres-1 (Y2) rocket, and they had entered their predetermined orbits and are currently operating normally in orbits.
