Harris demos GOES-R ground segment prototype

Harris Corporation has completed and successfully demonstrated a prototype of an end-to-end solution for the ground segment of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA’s) Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite – Series R (GOES-R) programme.

ICO G1 pre-launch details

Launch of manned Soyuz capsule to ISS successful

Rocket: Soyuz-FG; Payload: Soyuz TMA-12; Date: 8 April 2008, 1116 UTC; Site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The manned transport spacecraft was accurately placed on the target orbit for another mission to the International Space Station.

EADS Astrium signs agreement to acquire SSTL
