NPOESS Preparatory Project ground segment ready for operations

The U.S. National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) team reached a major milestone as the final portion of the NPOESS Preparatory Project (NPP) ground system was transitioned to operations.
