Spot-2 de-orbiting has started

After 19 years of operation and a total of 6.5 million images acquired, Spot-2 has reached the end of its life. Technical teams from the CNES Toulouse Space Center have initiated manoeuvres that will prepare de-orbiting of the spacecraft.
