Sinosat-3 suffered temporary failure

China Direct Broadcast Satellite Co., Ltd (China DBsat) confirmed that Sinosat-3 had suffered a temporary outage. Technical details of the malfunction have not been unveiled.

First AEHF production terminals complete testing

The Different Choices of Motorizing a Satellite Dish

You most likely have a small dish but that’s all that’s needed to catch these channels because the footprint is centered at its targeted location. The thing is that if you tried turning the dish you might be able to scan in channels from different satellite positions. The sky is full of satellites and free channels which don’t require huge dishes.

Ball Aerospace awarded second contract for STP-SIV programme

Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. has been awarded a US$13.4 million U.S. Air Force contract to procure long-lead hardware for a second Space Test Program Standard Interface Vehicle (STP-SIV) spacecraft.
