Measat Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. announced that the Measat-3a satellite, launched on the 22 June 2009 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, had successfully completed in-orbit testing and entered full commercial service.

Chandrayaan-1, launched on 22 October 2008, has completed eight months of successful operation and has made 3,000 revolutions around the Moon. The spacecraft also developed a problem with its star tracker. A workaround, which also explains a previously unannounced orbit-raising manoeuvre, has meanwhile been developed.
