It has been around since 1972 and it has managed to not only to stay relevant in today’s home entertainment market, but it is also still extremely popular. Year after year it has produced new and original shows, as well as supported up and coming filmmakers with many of its independent film projects. It is a reliable cable network channel that has maintained popularity and kept innovating over the years. With the advent of satellite tv it has also expanded to have offshoot channels to allow for even more content to be broadcast.
