Spire Global to acquire exactEarth

Spire Global, Inc. announced that the companies have entered into a definitive arrangement agreement under which Spire will acquire exactEarth for approximately US$161.2 million (C$204.2 million) in cash and stock, which is approx. 9.1 times the company’s revenue over the last 12 months.

MDA awarded contract forJAXA’s Martian Moons Exploration mission

MDA Ltd. announced that it has been awarded the full contract from MELCO (Mitsubishi Electric Corporation) in Japan to provide a Laser Rangefinder (LRF) altimeter for the JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) MMX (Martian Moons eXploration) mission.

SpaceX launches first batch of Starlink satellites

Soyuz lifts off with more OneWeb satellites (part I)

Rocket: Soyuz-2.1b/Fregat; Payload: 34 OneWeb satellites; Date: 14 September 2021, 1807 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The rocket lifted off as planned, and the satellites were to be deployed into a near-polar orbit at an altitude of 450 kilometers.
