Smallsat companies form consortium in response to EC tender

A recently established collaboration between more than twenty European space sector companies has been assembled in response to a European Commission (EC) call for tenders entitled “New Space solutions for long-term availability of reliable, secure, cost-effective space based connectivity.”

Update: AAC Clyde Space to supply core avionics for Arctic Weather Satellite

AAC Clyde Space has been selected by OHB Sweden to deliver core avionics worth approx. €797,000 to ESA’s Arctic Weather Satellite. The order has been preceded by a tightening of the original requirements of the systems.

Update: Landsat 9 in orbit

An Atlas V delivered Landsat 9 into a near-polar, Sun synchronous orbit around Earth. This was the 88th launch of the Atlas V rocket and the mission marked the first four-burn Centaur mission for ULA on an Atlas V rocket.

Update: China launches mystery satellite
