Launch of new Inmarsat satellite aboard HII-A scheduled for December

Inmarsat and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced that the launch of Inmarsat’s first satellite in the Inmarsat-6 fleet (I-6 F1) by MHI’s H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 45 (HIIA F45) is scheduled for 21 December 2021.

Second group of Yaogan 32 satellites launched

November 3rd, 2021 by

Rocket: Chang Zheng 2C; Payload: Yaogan 32 Group 02 (Yaogan 32-02); Date: 3 November 2021, 0743 UTC; Launch site: Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China. The two satellites were deployed into approx. 689 km x 703 km x 98.09 degrees Sun-synchronous orbits.

Satellogic to provide dedicated satellite constellation to Paraguay

Satellogic announced that it has signed a letter of intent with Agencia Espacial del Paraguay (AEP) to develop a Space-as-a-Service programme for the country. As a result of this LOI, Satellogic and AEP will undertake various technological and scientific projects in accordance with AEP’s Institutional Strategic Plan and the Space Policy of Paraguay.

Hubble instruments in safe mode, NASA team investigating

NASA is investigating why the instruments in the Hubble Space Telescope recently went into safe mode configuration, suspending science operations. The instruments are healthy and will remain in safe mode while the mission team continues its investigation.

One more OneWeb launch in 2021
