Boeing debuts high-throughput small satellite production facility

Boeing unveiled a new high-throughput small satellite production, integration and test facility designed for efficiency and rapid delivery timelines. Housed in the world’s largest satellite factory, Boeing’s 93,000 m² El Segundo facility, the small satellite production line will be powered by Boeing subsidiary, Millennium Space Systems.

Was Russian commercial launch business doomed anyway?

Russian state-run space corporation Roskosmos did not expect to sign contracts for major launch campaigns, as was the case with UK OneWeb project, corporation spokesperson Dmitry Strugovets has said.

Sidus Space announces the upcoming launch of LizzieSat

Sidus Space, Inc., a Space-as-a-Service satellite company focused on commercial satellite design, manufacture, launch, and data collection, announced its forward progression towards launch of its LizzieSat (LS) satellite to the International Space Station (ISS). This mission is slated to take place later this year.

China launches three satellites

Rocket: Chang Zheng 11; Payload: Tianping-2A, Tianping-2B, Tianping-2C; Date: 30 March 2022, 0229 UTC; Launch site: Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China. The satellites were deployed into 584 km × 604 km × 97.80 degrees Sun-synchronous orbits.
