Astroscale signs MOU with Virgin Orbit

Astroscale Holdings Inc. announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Virgin Orbit. The MOU establishes a new partnership in which the two companies will seek opportunities to co-operate on a series of space initiatives that will drive the future of space sustainability and on-orbit servicing ecosystem.

Vega lofts three French military intelligence satellites

Rocket: Vega; Payload: CERES (CapacitÉ de Renseignement Électromagnétique Spatiale) 1, 2 and 3; Date: 16 November 2021, 0927 UTC; Launch site: Kourou, French Guiana. The three military intelligence satellites were deployed into 672 km x 75.00 degrees circular orbits about 56 minutes into the mission.

Exolaunch signs new multi-launch agreement with SpaceX

Exolaunch has signed a new multi-launch agreement with SpaceX. The agreement includes more launches, more slots and more capacity for Exolaunch to integrate customer satellites onboard SpaceX dedicated rideshare missions, called Transporter missions, during the next two years.

Proton rocket to launch two Ekspress satellites in December

A Proton-M rocket will launch the Ekspress-AMU3 and Ekspress-AMU7 telecoms satellites into the orbit from Baikonur Cosmodrome on 6 December, Russia’s space agency Roskosmos said in a statement.

Falcon 9 lifts off with Crew Dragon

Virgin Orbit sign MOU with ANA Holdings for 20 LauncherOne flights

Virgin Orbit has entered into a memorandum of understanding with ANA Holdings, the owners of Japan’s largest airline, to procure twenty flights of the LauncherOne rocket and to lead the effort to provide funds and support for those orbital missions to launch from Japan’s Oita Prefecture.

Chang Zheng 6 lofts satellite for ‘sustained development’

Rocket: Chang Zheng 6; Payload: SDGSAT-1 (Guangmu); Date: 5 November 2021, 0219 UTC; Launch site: Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, China. The satellite was deployed into a 502 km x 514 km x 97.50 degrees Sun-synchronous orbit.
