Mynaric starts trading on Nasdaq

Mynaric AG, a developer and manufacturer of high-speed and high-security laser communication products for air and spaceborne applications in government and commercial markets, announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 4,000,000 American Depositary Shares, representing 1,000,000 ordinary bearer shares at a public offering price of US$16.50 per ADS.

Arianespace, Eutelsat, others sign Net Zero Space agreement

At the fourth Paris Peace Forum, Arianespace became one of the first companies to sign the Net Zero Space charter, designed to reduce space debris by 2030 and foster more sustainable use of space for humanity. This agreement is the result of an international effort by many players in the space sector, including Eutelsat, Planet, Astroscale and the French space agency, CNES.

HIBARI satellite to demo Variable Shape Attitude Control

A research team led by Professor Saburo Matunaga of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), developed a 50 kg class technology demonstration microsatellite called HIBARI (“skylark”) that was recently launched aboard an Epsilon 5.

Proton rocket to launch two Ekspress satellites in December

A Proton-M rocket will launch the Ekspress-AMU3 and Ekspress-AMU7 telecoms satellites into the orbit from Baikonur Cosmodrome on 6 December, Russia’s space agency Roskosmos said in a statement.

Astroscale, New Zealand to cooperate on space safety and sustainability

Astroscale Holdings Inc. announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with New Zealand’s Ministry of Business Innovation & Employment (“MBIE”) to co-operate on areas of space safety and sustainability, including debris mitigation and remediation, and on-orbit servicing in general.

MDA awarded initial design phase contract for lunar rover
