D-Orbit S.p.A., an Italy-based space logistics and transportation company, announced that it will become publicly listed through a business combination with Briz Holdings Acquisition Corp., a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company [SPAC]. The transaction values the company at an enterprise value of approximately US$1.28 billion (€1.13 billion) post-money.

Honeybee Robotics announced that it will be acquired by Blue Origin. With major operations in Longmont, Colorado and Altadena, California, Honeybee will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Blue Origin, headquartered in Kent, Washington.

Isar Aerospace announced that it has won the European Commission’s EIC Horizon prize “Low-Cost Space Launch,” receiving €10 million in prize money. The European Commission’s award was given to Isar Aerospace for its launch service solution using ‘Spectrum’, a two-stage launch vehicle that offers access to space for small and medium-sized satellites and constellations.

V, a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company [SPAC] sponsored by Cantor Fitzgerald. Satellogic’s Class A ordinary shares and warrants will trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbols “SATL” and “SATLW,” respectively.

Radian Aerospace, the developers of the world’s first fully reusable horizontal takeoff and landing, single-stage to orbit spaceplane, announced that the company recently closed US$27.5 million in seed funding.

Rocket Lab USA, Inc. announced it has closed the previously-announced transaction to acquire SolAero Holdings, Inc., a supplier of space solar power products and precision aerospace structures for the global aerospace market, for US$80 million in cash. Rocket Lab announced the execution of the agreement to acquire SolAero on 13 December 2021 pending certain closing conditions.
