Spaceflight Inc. announced it has recently signed several new launch agreements with a wide range of organisations that are expanding space infrastructure.

Russia is set to conduct about 15 space launches from different cosmodromes by the end of 2021, Head of the State Space Corporation Roskosmos Dmitry Rogozin said.

South Korea’s Institute for Defense Analyses managed to carry out successful firing tests of a solid-propellant engine for a new space launch vehicle recently, paving way for commercial launches of this type of rockets to start as early as in 2024, the defence ministry said.

The U.S Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Blackjack programme has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation a contract for Phase 2 development of an advanced, software-defined positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) payload, with options to build units destined for space flight.

The European Space Agency (ESA) has signed a contract with Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) for communications services from Lunar Pathfinder, due to launch in 2024.

ABL Space Systems announced that is has been selected as the launch provider for the NASA Cryogenic Demonstration Mission. Developed under a NASA Tipping Point contract awarded in 2020, the Cryogenic Demonstration Mission will launch in 2023 and demonstrate in-space transfer of cryogenic liquid hydrogen (LH2).

Synspective Inc., a SAR satellite data and analytic solution provider, announced an agreement with Exolaunch to launch Synspective’s third demonstration SAR satellite StriX-1 on a Soyuz-2 launch vehicle in mid-2022.
