Hispasat secures capacity on Eutelsat KONNECT

Eutelsat Communications and Hispasat have entered into a multi-year strategic agreement for wholesale capacity on the Eutelsat KONNECT satellite with the objective of supporting ubiquitous access to high-speed fixed broadband in Spain and Portugal.

OHB building satellite constellation for high-speed data highway

OHB System AG, a subsidiary of European space technology group OHB SE, is planning to develop and build a constellation of four relay satellites for U.S. company SpaceLink Corporation which will form part of a high-speed communications highway in space.

TAS to build HTS 113BT for Telkom Indonesia

Thales Alenia Space announced that it has signed a contract with PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia (Telkomsat), a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), to build HTS 113BT, a new High Throughput Satellite telecommunications satellite in C-band/Ku-Band from its orbital position at 113° East.

Progress MS-18 launched to ISS

Rocket: Soyuz 2.1a, Payload: Progress MS-18, Date: 28 October 2021, 0000 UTC; Launch site: Baikonur, Kazakhstan. The Progress MS-18 cargo spacecraft was accurately placed on the target orbit for another mission to the International Space Station.
