Astroscale to boost collision avoidance manoeuvre capability

Astroscale Ltd., the U.K. and European subsidiary of Astroscale Holdings Inc. announced that the European Space Agency (ESA) has selected Astroscale Ltd., to lead a collision avoidance study that’s part of the Collision Risk Estimation and Automated Mitigation (CREAM) activities in ESA’s Space Safety Program.

Satellogic to launch 5 new satellites onboard SpaceX Transporter-4 mission

Satellogic Inc. announced it has shipped five satellites to be launched in early Q2 from Cape Canaveral. The launch will be part of SpaceX’s Transporter-4 mission onboard a Falcon 9 rocket under SpaceX’s rideshare programme.

Rocket Lab begins qualification of highest performing space solar cell technology

Rocket Lab USA, Inc. reports that its next-generation solar cell technology is transitioning into qualification. The cell is the next product from SolAero’s patented Inverted MetaMorphic (IMM) solar cell technology, dubbed IMM-ss, that is expected to exhibit a conversion efficiency of ~33.3% in volume production. IMM-ss is the fourth generation IMM product created by SolAero Technologies Inc. (SolAero), a space solar power company acquired by Rocket Lab in January 2022.

Chinese technology demonstration satellite to be launched soon

United Launch Alliance USSF-12 mission delayed
